Bhojnagar village situated in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh , is on a constant focus of development activities carrying out by Nanhi Chhaan foundation from year 2013 onwards. Nanhi Chhaan is working progressively in building lives of people more healthy and happier by developing infrastructure and facilities in thematic issues such as Education, Health, Environment and Sanitation in Bhojnagar village and nearby areas.
Government Senior Secondary School Bhojnagar organized one day Annual School Function on 5th of December 2013, marked by colorful events by students performing various skits , songs and dance performances along with it 130 outstanding students were also facilitated with prizes who excelled in various fields such as Academics , Sports , Attendance and other extracurricular activities . Fifteen retired and working teachers were also facilitated with awards who made a mark in the teaching field.
Nanhi Chhaan sponsored 40 awards for 35 students from class 9th to 12th out of which 26 were Girls and 9 were Boys in the following categories
- Academics
- Quiz
- Painting
- Attendance
- Sports
- Other Extra Curricular Activities
Special emphasis was given to the Girl Child Awardees, along with the Oxford Concise Dictionary as a Prize and Certificate, Nanhi Chhaan T-Shirt and Badges were also given out to encourage them to study more and excel in various fields they performed.
Shawls and Pen were given out as a gift to 15 outstanding teachers.
To grace the occasion Mr. Jaivir Singh, Vice President , Mr Ajay Singh Cheema – Director from Impact Group were present along with Mr Vivek Karol General Manager – Tata Housing.
